Five Vacation Essentials

Whenever I pack for a vacation, I take into consideration two things: the climate change and what takes up as little room in my suitcase as possible. The products listed are ones that are easy to travel with but necessary for a new warm weather beauty regiment.

1) Smashbox Light It Up Lipstick + Lip Mattifier Set
This gorgeous set was released as part of their Holiday Light It Up Collection 2016. Encased are six deluxe minis of their Be Legendary Lipstick in the shades of Famous, Fig, Inspiration, Legendary, Primrose, and Tabloid. A perfect array of colors for any look, they also take up very little room in a purse that's already stuffed with a passport, sunglasses, and your beach paperback book. And the best part? The Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer technically gives you a total of twelve shades!

 2) L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

This is the perfect foundation to take on a vacation for a couple reasons. One, it's a dewy formula which is more natural than a complete matte face in a hot climate. Two, the coverage of this foundation is medium, so it's alright if you are a couple shades lighter or darker (maybe even burnt) because it blends in with your skin, rather than sit on top of it. Tip: This foundation is best applied with a Beauty Blender.

3) tarte Travel Size Maracuja Oil
This maracuja oil is described as "rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin C for firmer, brighter, smoother skin and helps promote active skin recovery and rejuvenation while delivering maximum hydration". This oil can be used year round by any skin type because it's skin balancing oil. But this is a must have on a vacation, for those days you get a little too much sun. Apply two to three drops and pat it into the face at nighttime to combat the sun drying out your skin.

 4) Maui Babe Body Butter
This is such a vital product that when I use it back at home, the tropical scent takes me back to being on vacation. This is a rich moisturizing cream that really helps lengthen your tan and keep your skin from becoming dry. The butter also has a pretty sheen to it, so sometimes I will apply to my legs when wearing dresses; otherwise I use after showering and at nighttime for maximum moisture. It's the best body moisturizer on the market.

5) It's A 10 Travel Size Miracle Leave-in Product
What doesn't this Miracle Product do? This brought my hair back to life after heavy bleaching and I haven't stopped using it since. It repairs dry damaged hair, adds shine, controls frizz, protects hair color, detangles, is a heat protectant, and more. Being in sun and saltwater, you can't forget about the health of your hair. I use this on wet hair where it truly is a great detangler, and I love knowing that I am protecting my color too.

Do you have any products you absolutely must travel with? Let me know, I'd love to hear from you!
