New Summer Maybelline Lip Products

Maybelline has recently launched a few new lip products so naturally I had to grab some to try out, as they are my favorite drugstore brand.

The first two shown in the photo above are the Super Stay Matte Ink liquid lipsticks in the shades "Heroine" and "Loyalist". These are seriously awesome. The applicator has pointed tip for more precision and the formula really does last. It even stayed on while I slept. It isn't uncomfortably drying on the lips either, just slightly tacky but it didn't come off at all on my drinking straw. I feel like I will be buying more shades of these.

Next I have the Color Sensational Matte Metallic lipsticks. I am slowly getting into the metallic look trend. They are super pigmented and really buildable. Here are the swatches of the shades I picked up:

Finally, I purchased the Vivid Hot Lacquer lip gloss in the shade "Charmer". I like that it is a pretty opaque lip gloss and brings a lot of color. I typically prefer lipsticks because they wear longer but I was surprised how long this lasted and that it wasn't so glossy that it came off the edges of my lips. It stayed put so I am definitely intrigued with this formula and am considering other shades as well.
